Where Montenegrin citizens can apply for eTA

Citizens of the Republic face various requirements when crossing international borders. Among the popular destinations, the following features can be highlighted:

• With a Montenegrin passport, you can enter any European country without a visa, except for the UK and Ireland. You can spend up to 3 months in a row in most countries. After Montenegro's expected accession to the EU (scheduled for 2025), its citizens will receive all the rights of citizens of the European Union.
• You can spend up to 90 days every six months in the Schengen countries. When traveling to Schengen countries, days are counted in total. From 2025, before traveling to Schengen countries, you will need to obtain an electronic entry permit - ETIAS. It will be valid for 3 years.
  
• Citizens of Montenegro are prohibited from entering the United States without a visa. For business and tourism purposes, you must apply for a B1 / B2 visa.
  
• Russia and Montenegro have signed an agreement on a visa-free regime. Montenegrins can spend up to 30 consecutive days in the Russian Federation without a visa.
  
• To enter Australia, you must first obtain an electronic permit (eVisa or eTA).
