From 2 April 2025, Hungarian citizens, like all EU, EEA and Swiss citizens (except the Irish), will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter the UK. However, they will still be able to use ePassport to cross the border upon arrival. A valid passport is required for entry, and its validity must cover the entire period of stay in the country.
