- The visa-free regime between Albania and the EU has been in force since December 15, 2010 and applies to short-term tourist trips of up to 90 days in any 180-day period (except for the UK and Ireland).
- From 2025, the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) will be introduced. The permit is issued for 3 years.
- A visa is required to visit the USA. Albanians are not included in the visa waiver program. Since April 1, 2022, the United States has begun issuing 10-year tourist and business visas (B1/B2) instead of the previous three-year ones.
- To enter Russia, you must obtain a visa of the appropriate type: tourist (up to 30 days), private/guest (up to 90 days), business (up to 1 year) or work (1 year).
- There is a mutual visa-free agreement between China and Albania, allowing Albanians to visit China for tourism purposes for up to 90 days.
