Egyptian citizens face various requirements when crossing international borders. Some of the popular destinations include:

• Egyptian citizens require a Schengen visa to visit any of the countries in this area.
• A visa is required to visit the United States. However, Egypt is on the list of countries whose citizens are eligible to obtain an E-2 investment visa. The E-2 visa is valid for 3 months for Egyptian citizens, unlike citizens of some other countries who can obtain a visa for up to 5 years.
  
• In 2023, there were changes in the visa policy between Egypt and Canada. Now, Egyptians need a pre-arranged visa to visit Canada.
  
• An electronic visa (eVisa) must be obtained in advance to visit Australia.
  
• Entry to Russia and China must be accompanied by a pre-arranged visa.
