The Brazilian passport opens up a wide range of opportunities for international travel, providing its holders with a privileged status in many countries around the world. Below are the key features for travel:

• For short-term visits to Schengen countries, a visa is not required. The stay is limited to 90 days within a 180-day period. Free movement is allowed between Schengen countries.
• A visa is required to visit the United States. You must provide biometric data and undergo interviews at the embassy.
  
• Since October 1, 2023, Canada has been obliged to obtain a visa.
  
• For short-term visits to Australia, you must obtain an electronic authorization (eVisa or eTA).
  
• There is a visa-free agreement with Russia (signed in 2008). Citizens of Brazil can visit the Russian Federation without a visa for up to 90 days within a 180-day period.
  
• A visa is required to visit mainland China.
