- Citizens of Thailand enjoy significant privileges within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The ASEAN Visa Waiver Agreement allows Thais to freely travel to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, and Brunei without a visa in advance. The maximum visa-free stay in these countries is 14-30 days.
- Citizens of Thailand must obtain a visa in advance to visit the Schengen Area. A standard Schengen visa allows stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.
