• Citizens of Monaco can freely visit all countries of the Eurozone. There is complete freedom of movement throughout the Schengen area. From May 2025, 2 new electronic entry control systems for the Schengen area (EES - Entry / Exit System and ETIAS - European Travel Information and Authorization System) will come into force. For citizens of the principality, these innovations will not create significant obstacles, given Monaco's special relations with the EU and France.
• To visit the USA and Canada, holders of a Monegasque passport are required to obtain an electronic entry permit. It is requested online a few days before the trip.
  
• To visit Australia, only an electronic entry permit is also required.
  
• With regard to Russia and mainland China, as a rule, a preliminary visa is required. At the same time, an entry permit to the Russian Federation is available online for certain categories of applicants.
