Where Turkish citizens can apply for eTA

What you need to know before leaving

Citizens of the Republic face various requirements when crossing international borders. Among the popular destinations, the following features can be highlighted:

• The visa fee for electronic visas varies from $25 to $100 depending on the country. The standard processing time is up to 10 days.
• Turks must obtain visas to travel to EU countries and the Schengen area. Unlike citizens of many European countries, Turkish citizens do not have the right to visa-free entry to the Schengen area.
  
• Turkish citizens can obtain a B-1/B-2 tourist visa to the United States for 10 years at once. It allows you to spend up to 180 days a year in the United States. The number of trips is not limited.
  
• Turks need a visa to travel to Russia. An electronic visa is issued within no more than 4 calendar days, regardless of weekends and holidays.
  
• To visit Canada, Australia and China, Turkish citizens must obtain visas in advance in accordance with the requirements of each country. The Canadian Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system is not available to Turks. However, in Australia, an electronic permit can be obtained.
