Climate Conditions
Bahrain has a subtropical desert climate. Hot, humid winds predominantly blow from the northwest, while dry, hot winds come from the south from the Rub' al Khali desert. Summers are long, scorching, and dry, whereas winters are pleasant and dry, but strong winds can occur. Throughout the year, the weather is almost cloudless.

Demographics

The average age of the population is 32 years. The number of births per woman is 1.7. The average life expectancy is 77.4 years: 78.6 years for women and 76.6 years for men.
Bahrain's population is ethnically diverse and is divided into two main ethnic groups: Bahrani and Ajam, who are predominantly Shiite Muslims.
