The Slovenian passport provides the right of unlimited stay in 27 EU countries and 23 Schengen countries. Outside Europe, the following destinations can be distinguished:
- Asia: 90 days in Japan and South Korea, 30 days in Singapore.
- Africa: 3 months in Morocco and Namibia, 1 month in Egypt (visa on arrival).
- America: 6 months in Canada, 90 days in Argentina and Brazil.
- Oceania: eVisitor electronic permit for Australia for 90 days.
- A visa-free regime was introduced with China in January 2025, giving the right to free stay for 30 days.
It is important to take into account that in order to enter the Schengen countries, your passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the planned departure. Passports issued more than 10 years ago are not accepted. Visa on arrival countries often require a 6-month validity period for the document.
