The World Bank's GDP per capita ranking is one of the key indicators of economic development and well-being of citizens in different countries. This indicator is expressed in US dollars and reflects the volume of goods and services produced per person in the country. These figures allow you to compare countries by well-being, assess the effectiveness of the economy in ensuring the standard of living of the population.
As a rule, countries with a high GDP per capita have a higher standard of living, access to quality health care and education. This helps further economic development and social stability in the state.
The data was updated on 06/28/2024 and is the most accurate at the time of publication. But they differ from older figures or similar indicators from other organizations, including UN and IMF reports.
