Residence Permit of Romania

Romania has a loyal attitude towards newcomers. It is not necessary to know the language to obtain a residence permit, which simplifies the move. This requirement appears only for citizenship. Romanian residence permit is preceded by opening a visa with category D. After obtaining temporary residence, one can apply for permanent residence and further - for Romanian citizenship.

Romania offers great opportunities to those who receive a residence permit. Such persons have the right to engage in their own business, get medical insurance and even apply for a pension. Their younger children get the right to study free of charge in kindergartens, and older children - in universities.

Bulgaria, the Republic of Cyprus and Croatia opens unlimited access for foreigners with a residence permit for Romania. Also temporary residency gives an advantage for opening a Schengen visa.
