Passport of Kazakhstan

Located in the heart of Eurasia, the Republic of Kazakhstan attracts immigrants with its developed economy and opportunities for growth in various sectors. One of the main factors contributing to the prosperity of its industry is the abundance of natural resources. Since 1994, a personal ID card has been issued in lieu of an internal passport to all citizens over the age of 16. The ID card is valid only within the territory of the country. A passport in the form of a book is issued to all applicants regardless of age. It can be used as an identity card both in Kazakhstan and abroad. The blue cover symbolizes the national flag. In its central part is the coat of arms, and above it is the name of the Republic in Kazakh and English. Both documents are valid for 10 years.
