Passport of Cyprus

An immigrant who obtains citizenship of the Republic will be able to visit 170 countries without visa restrictions. Since 2004 Cyprus is considered a full member of the EU. In this way, the Cypriot passport gives its holder the right to live, work or study in the territory of the EU countries without special permits. The Cypriot internal identity card looks like a plastic card with biometric data. To travel outside the state, a citizen needs a passport, which has the form of a book with a dense burgundy-colored cover of standard sizes. In its central part there is a coat of arms, and above it is the name of the country in English, Turkish and Greek. Both documents are issued to the applicant for a period of 10 years.
