Passport of Croatia

The plastic ID card that verifies identity is a mandatory internal document confirming the status of a citizen of Croatia and the European Union. The passport, which allows visa-free travel to most countries in Europe, as well as North and South America, is in the form of a booklet with a black cover. In the center, it features the national coat of arms with a golden outline, and at the top, it states the name of the country and its membership in the EU. Passport holders by default receive the right to reside, undertake business projects, seek employment, and study in any EU member state without the need for prior permits.
