Passport of Slovakia

Among them is the possibility to live, study or work in the territory of the European Union countries without permits. The individual is entitled to social benefits and payments. The internal ID-certificate with biometric data of the owner looks like a plastic card. A person with a Slovak passport can take advantage of a simplified procedure for buying a home in economically prosperous countries of the world. The document looks like a book and has a dark maroon-coloured cover. It bears the national emblem and the name of the European Union. The validity of the document is limited to 10 years.
