Citizenship of Slovakia

Slovakia is a country of the European Union, which has a mentality and traditions close to the Russian one. A citizen's passport allows you to reside in the territory of the state and travel within the EU without the need for an additional visa. There is a simplified system of issuing authorization documents to the USA and Canada.

Additional opportunities

Citizens of the state can do business in the EU, buy real estate, receive various benefits, and enjoy other benefits on a par with native residents.

Ways to Obtain Citizenship

According to the Citizenship Act, Slovak citizenship can be obtained through several different methods:

Marriage to a Citizen

To obtain citizenship through marriage, it is necessary to first obtain a residence permit. You must live in marriage with a citizen of the country for at least 3 years and maintain a joint household within the country. Only after this can you apply for citizenship. The marriage must not be considered fictitious. If there are doubts about the authenticity of the marriage, the citizenship application will be denied. Moreover, a fictitious marriage will be annulled, and the foreigner will be deported from the country with a subsequent entry ban into the EU.
