Passport of Denmark

Holders of a Danish passport are granted the right to legally work within the European Union and freely cross the borders of 173 countries worldwide. Therefore, the document provides numerous advantages not only within the prosperous European state but also far beyond its borders. Danish passports have a dark burgundy cover, standard for countries that have joined the EU. The front features the country's coat of arms, highlighted by impressive embossing. In addition to the country name, there is an inscription indicating EU membership. Additionally, Danish citizens have the right to obtain an internal ID card, though it is not mandatory.
