Residence Permit of Czechia

The residence permit of Czech Republic is a document that confirms a foreigner's right to reside in the country. It is made of plastic and allows not only to stay in the country but also to work there, cross the border as many times as needed, study at universities, acquire property, and travel with a Schengen visa.

The main difference between a residence permit (temporary) and permanent residence is the validity period. The residence permit is issued for the duration of the insurance coverage. There are also differences in the eligibility for obtaining the document. Russian citizens can apply for a Czech Republic residence permit if they are adults, have provided an insurance policy, have no criminal record, and can justify the purpose of their move to the country.
