Passport of Czechia

Since 2004, holders of Czech passports have been considered full citizens of the EU. The Czech Republic grants its citizens the ability to visit 138 countries without needing a visa. Citizens can work and undertake business projects within the European Union. They can also benefit from reduced tuition rates at top European universities and even qualify for free education. Identity documents in the Czech Republic include a biometric ID card and a passport that confirms Czech citizenship. The passport is a booklet with a sturdy burgundy cover. In the center is the national coat of arms, and above it is the name of the European Union.
